My 3rd day in 5SIR. Realli nothing to do ytd cos the whole day was allocated for admin so we can do our administrative stuff which we all did last Thur. It was the day i slept the most in a day since i entered army. Well, we joked abt having 14 hours of slp a day hahaz. We were so bored, we decided to go to the gym to train. Sadly, after lifting weights for 5 mins, we were told dat the gym was already booked by others to do weights training. For the first time in my life, i felt sad leaving the gym. Anyway, we were desperate and to my amazement, i actualli volunteered to participate in the orientation run which was "optional". See im so garang. Anyway im waiting for my posting of appointments. I had an S1 interview, the manpower officer. Once i told him i was distrupting from NS, he told me it was beta not to be an infantry PC. So he suggests i try to be an NDP committee 2ic assisting the BRIGADE 2IC in sponsorship. Well, it sounds boring but in actual fact, alot of accounting has to be done and i will learn alot of life skills when i enter the corporate world. I felt relieved and hope to get dat appointment even it is a staff job.
