Well, i had an interview wif the S1 officer juz now. This interview determined wad appointment i will hold in 5SIR. Once i told him i was planning to distrupt from NS and cannot go for ATEC in FEB 06, he immediately offered mi a staff job. Well, i was disappointed at first because my initial posting was an infantry PC. However, i always haf this regret dat if i become an infantry PC, i will not be able to finish the yr wif my men thru ATEC. All my hard work, bonding wif the platoon, tying down all the SOP will all go down the drain if i hand over my appointment juz b4 ATEC. It will be also very saddening for me because at the end of the day cos i wun be able to see how well my men perform and also i wun be able to reap wad i sow.

Anyway, he offered mi this appointment as an NDP 2IC committee and i would be assisting a LTC who is 3rd SIB Brigade Com 2IC. (woooo im working at a Bde Level) haha. The reason why he offered mi this job is because this committee is in charge of getting sponsorship.
Also, i would be able to learn some life skills like auditting and accountancy which would be useful to be when i take up my course in Accountancy next yr. Well, God really sends his blessings in disguise as i wasnt looking forward to coming to 5SIR. In the end, i realised dat God gave me a sense of purpose in coming to 5SiR as i noe there is a suitable job for me. Of cos i would still want to go 6SIR where all my friends are right now including my best friend.

By the way, my friends in 5SIR are making fun of me and started calling me Brigade 2IC juz bcos im supposed to work for him. Sigh, although it seems funny but i feel awkward when pple call mi dat. Also, they tink im some big shot posted to a Bde level cos they think i haf the potential to work in a Bde level instead of a Bn level haha. (oh pls..) i realli hope my friends can start calling mi Royston or Royce the Voice or noise. haha.
